General Information The school Parents and Citizens' Association provides a great deal of support for the school and the meetings are important as they provide one avenue through which parents and the staff of the school may meet to discuss school policy and general school improvement. Meetings of the Parents and Citizens' Association are held at the school on the second Thursday of every month in the Staff Room in the Administration Block commencing at 7:00 pm. FundraisingThe P&C Association has an active Fundraising sub-committee. All interested parents are cordially invited to be involved. This committed group of parents is involved in organizing fundraising and school community events. Top TuckshopThe school Tuckshop operates from Monday to Friday each week. The purpose of this venture is three-fold: It provides facilities for children to purchase foodstuffs for lunch when parents are unable to provide lunch. It keeps children within the school grounds where they are supervised and, of course, it is a means of raising funds for the school. The Tuckshop is staffed on a roster basis by parents or other volunteers. It is hoped you will support us by patronizing the Tuckshop. Any parent who is able to assist is encouraged to introduce themselves to the tuckshop convenor and place themselves on the roster. Volunteer assistance is crucial for the efficient running of the tuckshop and is greatly appreciated. Uniform ShopThe Uniform Shop operates Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 8am to 9.30am. Second hand uniforms are also available but stock quantities vary throughout the year. Please feel free to come in and browse. For those students who are leaving the school and wish to donate their uniforms, please send them along to the Uniform Shop at your convenience as they would be much appreciated. Volunteer assistance is crucial for the efficient running of the uniform shop. If you can assist let us know. The introduction of these new instruments will provide students with exposure to a more diverse musical education, and coupled with the replacement of current aged/damaged instruments, offer more rewarding outcomes through enhanced performance sound. This in turn will ensure the programs continued strength and future growth.
