| A warm welcome to those visiting our website for the first time and welcome back to all others.
Founded in 1887, Toowoomba East has had a long association with the city of Toowoomba. It is certainly one of the premier primary schools in the city, catering for children from Prep to Year Seven. | |
We have a proud tradition of providing quality state education and excel in a number academic, cultural and sporting areas. The school has excellent facilities, including a well resourced library, heated swimming pool, multi-purpose hall, music block, three ICT (Information Communication Technology) rooms, and adventure playgrounds. Because of its proximity to central Toowoomba, the school can also take advantage of facilities such as the beautiful Queen's Park.
Whilst our school does have an enrolment management policy in place to ensure our ability to cope with increasing demand for enrolment, applications from students residing outside of the defined catchment may be accepted subject to vacancies in the required year levels. Please don't hesitate to contact us in relation to enrolment possibilities. |

Gambling Community Benefit Fund Grant (Total Value - $13 082)You may have noticed our new Toowoomba East insignia pop-up marquees. We were successful at the beginning of the year in our application for six new marquees as seen in the photos below. Each marquee also comes with three solid walls for added protection and sand bags for use on concrete. Thank you must go to Fiona Kelso for the many hours spent on this grant application. Our new marquees arrived in time for use at the zone athletics and have also been used at the TESS Junior Sports Day, Fete and Election day BBQ. I would expect our marquees to be a great asset to our school and other approved community groups for many years to come.
